About the Author
Anissa’s most recent endeavor as the author of the book “I Have Feelings, Too” was fueled by her childhood growing up on a farm where she developed a strong passion for animals, particularly dogs.
Through her writing, Anissa incorporates her lifetime of experiences and love for dogs in hopes to teach young readers (and parents) how to navigate all dogs' communication styles and learn how to coexist. She enjoys engaging young readers and helping instill their own love for dogs.
In her free time, Anissa enjoys spending time with her family, training her dogs (tricks and agility obstacles), crafting, playing sports, or traveling the world. Anissa currently lives in Minnesota with her husband, two children, and their three energetic dogs.
